I'm looking for a current source for .38 S&W ammo or brass to reload. Not .38 Special. Does this round get any use from the Cowboy Action Shooters? I'm trying to save myself the leg work of muddleing thru countless webpages by asking here, where I feel confident that someone will know the answer off the top of their head.

.38 S&W
Remington still loads .38 S&W, and Remington brass is available from the usual reloading suppliers. Starline also makes brass for .38 S&W.
I hvae not seen .38 S&W used for cowboy shooting, but I'm not expert in that branch of shooting...
It is a plesant round to shoot, but has little to commend it these days.

www.cabelas.com I have been lucky to find a custom reloader also. I recently scored primed Winchester Western cases at a antique shop.

Midway has both the loaded ammo and unprimed brass from several manufacturers.
