Custom Makarov firing pin spring?

In order to address the issue of the floating firing pin design of the Makarov, and to fix the 'primer kissing' problems and overall unsafe condition of this pistol, is it possible to get a spring for it? I've heard about a few guys that have used simple springs out of click pens and it worked fine.

I couldn't find anything at makarov.com for it, so I'm hoping someone here has either done it, seen it done, or can advise me about this ability

I would look for a titanium firing pin first. What lbs recoil spring is in your Mak ?
Have you ever had a double fire ? Have you ever had a round discharge from useing the slide release ? Do you wear a aluminium hat to pervent Aliens from reading your mind ?

If it aint broke fix it till it is.

22lb recoil spring, no double fires, no slide discharges.

Why wait for a catasrophe when you can prevent it?

Wesker, it is most likely a 21# spring. And why do you want to create a catastrophe by increasing recoil spring tention Do you know more than those that designed the gun ?

In practice this hasn't proven to be a problem.
