I have an original CVA Scout 243 Stainless, not the V2. I put the Optima thumbhole stock on it which is a very nice touch. That was about 40$ shipped. I scored this gun on gunbroker for 200$ which was a steal and topped it with a Redfield Revenge 3-9x. This makes for a very fast target acquisition and a very maneuverable rifle. The accuracy is good if you find the right handload, but don't expect miracles. I found it to be picky about the load. The gun would still be good to me even if it only shot 1.5 MOA because its not meant for bench shooting. I am getting on average 3/4MOA to 1MOA. I haven't got a deer with it yet, but countless woodchucks, 1 at 450yds! It is very nice carry around due to it's short stature and is no less deadly than a full sized rifle. Anyone else with experience with CVA Scouts?
