Haven’t tried shooting them yet out of an auto loader. Any notable experiences/ issues, good or bad, with Lehigh Extreme or other ‘screwdriver tip’ bullets cycling?

Going to give the 90gr. Xtreme Defense a try in a few 9mm. I’m really interested in how they do in pistols with steeper feed ramps.
It’s still hard to grasp the idea of light for caliber 9mm rounds that don’t seem to veer off and-or lose speed, deform, etc as in past ammo offerings. In several different barrier tests considerable proof seems to be there; though really no track record afa self defense use in the real world of many more variables, vs static testing . The Penetrators at least have done well in the few hunting stories I’ve found that involved them.
The environmental answer to lead hardcast?

Used them, checked them(yup, expensive) in my Glock 26, Glock 17 and Glock 42 and all have been 100% reliable.
Lehigh/Underwood Xtreme defense. Also bought and tried G9..same results..reliable, 100% and very effective 'performance'...

I also 'tested' them on a modified 'meat target'(thanks Paul Harrell)...pork ribs taped to a watermelon with 8 layers of denim..and hoo=boy, they(Glock 42/.380) made a real mess of the watermelon......

That's correct but you can view the relative performance of these vs a more traditional JHP...in static testing..compared to JHP, particularly out of short barrels where expansion or plugging up the hollow point may yield poor performance. In these static tests, the Lehigh/Underwood/G9 does very well in comparison.

I've shot some of those Lehigh Extreme Penetrators in 10mm auto. They cycled fine in a Sig P220, and in a Kriss carbine.
