Well started in sighting in with CCI 525 value box. For a cheap ammo it shot pretty good. Good plinking ammo
All groups were 5 shots @ 50 yds with 10-15 mph wind mostly head on with a slight left-->right push but it was changing slightly at times. Shot prone off a tall bipod on very uneven ground.
Went to Eley Match EPS--ok but not great, about 1/2" lower than sight in, just under 3/4" 5 shot groups but expect I could get better.
Also shot remington sub sonics---awful groups will shoot it and never buy again.
CCI mini mags--meh not great but ok if thats all there is
Winchester Super X--did about as good as CCI's value box with approx same POI so a good varmint ammo
Then used Fiocci Biathalon Super Match--so far this is the one. After a slight adjustment to POI--most groups were "just" over 1/2" I know I pulled many of the shots making the groups expand. But I had a couple right at 1/2" and a couple more if I didnt pull the shots I could have had 3/8" groups (had 3 rounds in one oblong hole the size of a .22 bullet with two pulled shots on one of them stretching it just over 1/2")
Very Impressed!! If I get this on a bench with little to no wind off of a solid rest this could well be a 3/8" @ 50 yard rifle as long as I concentrate. I was rushing a bit as well so I dont think this is a stretch.
Now I know why I wanted one.
