I haven't found anything like that yet

but I would like to put a ghost ring sight on my 527 carbine. Hopefully others will have some info. I wish XS sights would come up with one. It seems this is becoming a popular rifle.

Have a good one,

Matt

No!!

Okay, lemme explain; you could go with a small pistol type scope, mounted on the front bridge.
then on the rear, you could put a scope mount base, then on top of that, attach a weaver rail type, that fits on a scope mount base. then on top of that , you could put a fitting on, which either would allow you to put on a ghost ring site, or a ghost ring site , that attaches to a weaver type rail.
You could do all that, I suppose....

So again, no.

There are two approaches -- one is to locate the rear scope mount base as far foreward as you can get it, and then squeeze in a peep sight behind it. I have a Model 70 Winchester made in 1939 that is set up that way, with a Redfield peep behind the rear scope mount.

The other way is to use QD rings and get a peep that attaches to the rear mount.

According to an email I sent to XS Sights (Bo Wallace) last summer, there is one that works

The one we use is the Ruger Back Up, and because several factors like caliber, bullet weight used and simply individual gun to gun variances, the only way to KNOW what height is correct for your particular rifle/ammo/shooter combination is get something on there and go shoot.

$65, but I haven't tried it yet

oops, forgot to add

that's what it looks like. It doesn't mount on the integral rail, but is attached with a screw.

I wish I could find the dimensions of the Sako rail, because it sure looks like it could fit. I know Sako and Tikka have some parts interchangeability, but I don't know if that Sako back up sight is on a 16mm rail
