I've called a few stores/dealers asking about the CZ PCR/75D. Everyone keeps talking to me like I'm an idiot: "Sir, there's no such model. You must mean the '75B', and we carry that for $515."

It's about as bad as calling hardware stores for a brass punch/drift and being condescendingly told "Sir, punches are made out of STEEL, no brass."

Anyway, I see some on GunBroker for $439 with 10rd mags. Is there any better deal on any of the wholesalers? Ideally, a deal with the full-cap mags. I'll be selling my CZ RAMI to pay for this. Ironic really, because the guy I bought it from was selling it to buy a PCR.

I actually bought my PCR on Gunbroker. It was NIB never fired and with the hi-cap mags. I may have just got lucky but I paid $375.00 plus $20.00 shipping. :D By the way, send me some pics and tell me a little about your Rami. I may be interested.

Red's indoor range has the PCR for $418 when you order it from Davidsons and it is delivered to Red's where you can pick it up..

Or you can go to the Davidson's website and put in your zip code and maybe find a dealer near you that Davidsons deals with.

I got both, my PCR and my stainless CZ75B through Davidsons and they were delivered to Bear Mountain sporting goods in Mesa, Arizona (near where I live) the next day.

I paid $412 plus $12.95 shipping, plus tax for my PCR.

Okay, I see where they list Red's, and I see where they list PCR, but where does it say the $418? Is that the secret price that only dealers can see?

Do I call Red's and say "It's $418, let me order it and I'll pay the transfer", or what? I'm used to paying the wholesale price directly to CDNN and just having it delivered to an FFL, not used to Davidsons.

Thanks for the great tips,

Whittaker had me all excited with the CZ 75BD Police (w/ night sights) for $339 in their Used section ("never fired"). But it turns out that the 75BD Police is a full-size gun, like a 75 but with a decocker.

$418 seems the best price out there, and that's not unreasonable. CZ prices seem to be edging up; Academy Sports is up to $408 for a 75, and they were $350 earlier this year.

If you purchase a gun from Davidsons, you will get the best warranty out there.

This is their warranty____
-- "If anything should ever go wrong with your purchase we'll provide immediate replacement or free repair."

I purchased a Taurus PT111 PRO from Davidsons that went bad after one magazine load.

I brought it back to the dealer and Davidsons had a new pistol for me at the dealer the next day and with no questions asked.

How can you beat that?

Ordered the CZ 75D from Davidson's today.

Downside: they only work directly with their stocking FFLs. So add $25 for FFL fee and $35 for TX sales-tax. On the bright side, shipping will be negligible because they're putting me in with next week's bulk order.

Pretty stoked about this. I like the CZ design, but the 75 is big, and the RAMI is small. I'm doing the Goldilocks thing here.

Any word on good deals for full-cap mags? It comes w/ two 14s, but I'd like a couple more. I already have a Galco Yaqui Belt Slide (bought off of THR) to put it in.

Expect to see my CZ RAMI (9mm, alloy, (2) 10rd (2) 14rd, IWB and OWB holsters from K&D, etc.) up on the Sales boards on Monday.

You are going to love this pistol!

I'm surprised about the FFL fee! My dealer does not add any fee.

I got my extra magazines from CDNN____

Unfortunately they are out of stock, but hopefully they will be back in stock soon.

These are Mec-Gar and I think they are the same as the original factory mags, but don't have the rubber bottom plate.

I find that with my smallish hands, I don't need the rubber plate.

It's interesting how rapidly CZ mags have become expensive. I ordered about ten of them from MidwayUSA for about $15 each... these are the Mec-Gar 16-rounders, not Nationals or ProMags (are those any good?)... now the Mec-Gars are $21 at MidwayUSA, and out of stock. What gives?

I read someplace that Mec-Gar has a huge military contract and is way behind on their regular production.

I have always had better luck with Mec-Gar than other after market brands.
