I've been thinking a while, and I decided I want a CZ

I shot a CZ 40B at the range a few days ago, and I loved it.

I'm a CZ n00b, don't know anything about their models. I'd like a .40S&W CZ, looks and trigger pull the same as the one I shot, but I want one with a decocker, if at all possible.

Does such an animal exist?

Thanks guys.

nope, not unless it's come out really recently. the only models that are in .40 are the CZ-40 and the CZ-75B .40. the ONLY thing i don't like about CZ is that they have no calibers to choose from. i desparately want a P-01 in .40. YOU HEAR THAT CZ!!! :D

CZ 40 huh, don't think they even make that one anymore, although CDNN had some last I remember.
The 40 was a bit different from the other CZ offerings. It had an alloy frame (most CZs are steel), making it lighter, and a grip designed more like a 1911 (CZs have a unique grip which you either love or hate)
The CZ 75 B is avalible in .40 but feels different (better imho)
the 75 is the flagship of the CZ line and can be had in several different flavors including a decocker version. the problem is the only models to come in 40 are the CZ 75 B (double action, but no hammer drop) or the CZ 75 Single Action (which as the name implies is a single action only pistol)
If you like 9mm I would recomend any CZ (although I love the SA model) they one of the best values in firearms.

I have never ever heard anyone say they hate the grip design of the CZ guns......

Most and I mean most say they love them and the others like them but who actually hates them??????drf

The RAMI 2075 is made in 9mm and .40

Hard to believe isn't it. I still consider it the only gun to ever understand how a hand works, but hey some people are comfortable with the grip angle of a glock. to each his own.

CZ 40

CZ 40B amd 40P : both awesome ergonomics, 40B has the 1911 grip because it was origonally designed for Colt to be the Colt Z40 (800 were imported before Colt backed out). 40P is the same 40S&W slide with the new P01 grip and decocker vs cocked and locked. love 'em both-just built for different purposes.
