CZ Sporting

Hi All,

I am in the market for a new o/u shotgun with 30" or 32" barrells. I am on a limited budget and have been doing some research.

Does anyone have any thoughts or insight into the CZ Sporting? Or if anyone has any suggestions, please shout them out. Please don't respond with buy a used Browning as I don't buy used guns. I am weird like that .

I actually just checked the price of the Sporting and it is above my pay grade. Anyone have thoughts on a shottie with the specs listed above and priced around less than $1200?

CDNN did have some Lanbers with those specs for about 600 or so - don't know if they have any left

You might find a discontinued SKB for around that much

One thing to consider is this - the browning, Beretta level of quality will last. The price of the gun is your LEAST expensive item - buy once, cry once - targets and ammo will cost hundreds of times more than the gun, and with an O/, just like a SxS, quality counts and improves as you go up the price scale. Both types require more hand work and thus that gets cut first when trying to produce a gun to a low price point
