My favorite rifle is cz453 in .22lr. It is extremely accurate (easily shoots sub-MOA at 100yrds) and has excellent trigger. Here is a picture, along with my Tikka T3 Lite in .223 Rem. Life is good.:)

Congratulations. The CZ small bore rifles have a superb reputation for accuracy. I live in dread of the day CZ wakes up, realizes how good their product really is, and starts charging accordingly.

They really do shoot well. my CZ .22 shoots just as well. I bought a CZ ZKK601 in 1971 in .243 and used it for years. It was such a well made and accurate rifle. to my great regret i sold it to a mate who still uses it now. I'm seriously looking to buy the heavy barrelled .308 CZ 550 for use on the running moose range. CZ weapons great value for money

I am also considering a 527 American in 223 Rem. Does anyone know if they make it 1:9 twist, or it is all 1:12? The 2006 catalog says that walnut 527 has a 1:9 twist, but I think it is a misprint.
TIA

I know the Varmint model with H.S. Precision stock is 1 in 9, my Lux is 1 in 12 so the web site may be correct.

I also have 6 CZ 452's in 17 MACH2, 17 HMR, 22 WMR, and of course a couple or three in 22 LR.
