I seem to recall reading somewhere along the way that the trigger on the CZ75 SA was plastic, and prone to breakage. Is that still the case? What, if anything, needs to be done to the CZ75-SA to make it duty-capable?

(And please, no 'get a stronger recoil spring' recommendations - the CZ platform doesn't need a recoil spring up-rate and IMO the uprated springs are responsible for more broken slidestops than anything else...)

yep...the SA trigger is a polymer..but I have never seen/heard or broken one myself.

from the box..for carry..I think its pretty good..I'd probably switch out the sights to the meprolight night sights..and leave it alone..on most of the CZs I have carried..I left most if not all the camming in the single action alone..and left the pull weight around 4#-5#.

it will clean up pretty quickly..and you can get the trigger to 2.5# pretty easily with the factory parts..or under 2# if you install a CZ comp hammer and respring.

anyway..that has been my mileage with this gun.

Angus usually has them...there is a steel version and an aluminum version.

That's the CZ Custom Shop for those that don't know. CZ-USA in Kansas usually has them as well. There are a couple of different options, aluminum or steel.
