Cz75b Sa?

I just got home a few minutes ago (skated out of the office early ) after purchasing my 2nd CZ (1st was a PCR). I got my new CZ75B home, cleaned it, and was playing with it (uh, I mean familiarizing myself with it's operational functions) when I noticed the trigger wouldn't double-action. Yep, you guessed it, says CZ75B SA right there on the slide in plain view. So, what to do? Take it back? Keep it? I'm a 1911 shooter, so cocked and locked, etc is not really a problem for me. Anything I should know about these pistols? It will take the same magazines as any other CZ75B, right. It's not what I thought I was ordering but it's still pretty sweet. Opinions?

Yeah, I know, pay closer attention to stuff when making a purchase. Hey, I was excited and eager to get it home before my wife got home. (Y'all quit laughing, I need a little time to come up with the reason I needed this thing. I might use the old "This thing? It's an old Commie military pistol. I've had it for a long time." )

Well, mine was purchased intentionally.... Superb accuracy, excellent gun. Mine eats all ammo except Blazer/aluminum. Easily the most accurate semi-auto that I have. HIghly recommended

You hit Gold. I can't even find a SA around here. I would much rather have that than the DA. I'm a Hi-Power guy though so I would naturally prefer the SA.

Are you sure you're really bummed?

If you like it...

and I mean if it is as good as your 1911 trigger, then keep it! BUT, if you really want a swelt 9mm get a BHP if you WANT SA. Otherwise, get a 75B DA/SA - you get immediate second strike capability,and the DA first round option - and half cock is better! On the last SA I picked up, the trigger was not as good as most DA models I have seen in SA, and surely not as good as my 75B 40 or Compact - so there was no advantage.

The only reason I have the BD model is not being familiar with cocked/locked. Otherwise I'd have one in a second. I understand the trigger is adjustable...

I have a CZ-75B SA in 9mm and .40S&W, if that tells you anything.

I bought mine intentionally and don't plan on parting with it either.

I personally love mine, also I think it is better than the 75B. While both are essentially the same the SA has some features I feel make it the better gun. First is its beaver tail which has more of an upsweep to it and allows me a better grip on the weapon. Second it has the mag break which allows the empty mag to fall free from the gun (the 75B stops the mag before it clears the gun. Finally it has safeties which allow me to rest my thumb on them while shooting. Oh yeah and it is single action, which is how I carry my CZ 85 combat anyway.
