first, i want to say that i have dont a few hunts (wild hogs) on private lands, but now i've been invited to a hunt in where they have bag limits, am not familiar with the term "

You can shoot 12 a day , but you can never have more than 24 at any one time.

great. i get it now,

so if i want to shoot 36 it have to be in a 4 days period with only 12 per day right?

just to be sure....

You cannot have more than 24 in your possession - period. If you shoot 36, 12 would have been eaten during your hunting spree

if you shoot 36, your buddy can only shoot 12. If you someone in your party doesn't get their 24, give him/her some of your overage (i.e. any of the number that puts you over 24).
