have spent much time reading the improving a red rider bb gun. looks like the various model daisy bb gun have been looked over and commented on. to date it looks like about 380 FPS is the best the tinkers have gotten. know the 25 had a flat coil spring when it transitioned from lead to steel BB shot. has anyone found and installed a flat coil spring in a daisy 25 with the improvement mentioned here and exceeded 400 FPS or better? had anyone made an air chamber and spring piston with a longer piston travel than 2 inches -- like 3 plus inches?
