My wife somehow found John last year and conspired to have him make me one of his warhawks for Christmas. I found out Sunday that she also had him make me this knife for my birthday. An 8" blade forged from Chad Nichols lizard skin damascus, fossil walrus ivory handle, wrought iron guard and copper accents. His signature rawhide sheath is equally impressive with a copper concho, lots of fringe, antique beads, tin cones and horsehair. It's a stunning piece but I'm afraid I can't do any better than the pic that he posted on BladeForum.

Wow! That's just stunning! Love the look of the damascus blade and the fossil walrus ivory with the copper enbellishments. And the sheath is another work of art in and of itself.

Words can't describe my appreciation for that work of art, so I'll just say, thanks for sharing the pic!

I agree that looks like a work of art , I wouldn't even cut a peace of string with it .

Thanks folks! I don't know if I'm gonna be able to carry it afield or not. Maybe, if I make a plainer sheath for it. ;)
