This is a Dan Wesson .357 with an 8-inch barrel. It is one of the models manufactured in Monson, Mass. I inherited this revolver so I don't know a whole lot about it. I believe it is a Model 15 but I can't say for sure.
The finish is in very good condition. It does, however, seem to have its firing pin stuck in the forward position. The cylinder will rotate when the hammer is pulled, but when you try to open the chamber it will not fully come out because the cylinder gets hung up on the firing pin sticking into the chamber. I am not sure how much this would cost to correct but it doesn't seem to be too complicated of an issue. Most of these guns seem to be going for $350 to $400 so due to this defect I am asking $250 firm for the gun.
I would prefer a face-to-face transaction in DFW over shipping but if there is no local interest I will consider shipping.
