Hey guys any significant difference between older model 715 Monson Mass like I currently have and new CZ Dan Wesson's made in New York?
I talked to a revolver expert from Dan Wesson today who said the barrels are interchangeable between the Monson Mass 715 and the CZ 715.
Interestingly CZ did not mark their stamp on the revolvers produced by Dan Wesson in New York and the CZ Dan Wesson is still marked Dan Wesson firearms.

only thing that I can tell is the Old Dan wessons tended to come with wooden grips and the new ones come with type of hogue grip. And the old ones you had a Choice of barrel style and the new ones only seem to come with the heavy vent rib barrel with the squared under lug all the way to the end instead of the somewhat more elegant partial underlug Old Dan Wesson's had.

I have never held or fired a new CZ Dan Wesson does anybody find them to be better or worse than the old Monson Ma?

I have Monson Mass 715 w 8 inch heavy vented barrel with a scope mounted but would like to get a 6-in and possibly four inch barrel which I can buy from Dan Wesson in New York for about $300 each.
But I'm also considering instead buying a CZ 715 with a 6-in barrel or even buying an old Monson Mass 715 with 4-in barrel for 600 bucks and then buying the 6-in barrel from Dan Wesson

What are y'all's thoughts on those options?

Do you have the new production CZ or the 1980s version.
Have you shot it much how do you find the accuracy?
I have the '80s version and it's super accurate in fact in general all the Dan Wesson 15-2 and 7:15 revolvers I have owned have been both sturdy and accurate although one or two have had problems I think because former owners didn't set the spacing right

I’ve read on the DW forums that the vintage Dan Wesson 15-2 and 715’s will interchange parts with the CZ 715’s.

My two Monson 15-2’s have been great... my Monson .22 has been a bit of a pain. :(.

Stay safe.

Side by side, I think that mechanically they're pretty much the same, but I think the old ones look a little better. But it's just kind of like comparing a 2018 Challenger and a 2019 Challenger.
