Dan Wesson Question

Hi all,
Just a quick question. I just put a Dan Wesson .44 MAG VH44 6" revolver on layaway at my local dealer. The weapon looks in excellent shape, tight lockup, nice trigger, serial # 0082xx $350.00 . Is this a fair price? I can stop the layaway with no loss of money. I have always wanted a Pistol Pac but could never afford them, so I thought I would get this. It seemed fair to me, but I would like some other opinions. Thanks in advance.

That seems like a GREAT price for Dan Wesson in .44 Mag in great condition. Can you post pics once you take possession of it?

I also wanted a Pistol Pac back in the day.

Great price! I paid more than that for a .357 model. The trigger is excellent on it.

Hey Beacon,
I shot one of those, and it had a 3.25 pound trigger on it and you would have thought you were shooting a Colt revolver, thats how smooth it was.

BB - you got a good deal. Just wait 'til you take it to the range - you'll see. My .44 Mag Dan is one of my favorite firearms and I really don't get into handguns.

That's half what one here cost. Easy $550-650 in good condition.
