I have a few old manuals where there is no AA#9 data for 10mm.

I have a newer manual showing a maximum of 13.5gr. under a 180gr. bullet and also this collaborates the data I found on AAs website.

Does anyone have any other data where the MAX is above or below this 13.5 gr. value?

Thanks!

All I know is in my 10mm 6" barrel that 13.0 gr AA9 and a 180 grain XTP and Nosler JHP is over 1300 fps.

And that there is no way you can get more than 13.6gr or so in a Starline 10mm case.

Here's what Hornady 11th has:

Wow, pretty slow velocities. What length barrel in this data?

I'm curious about compression/volume percentages with AA#9 near the upper end of your data. I'm at my published max of 13.5 and the load is quite compressed. I'm assuming the 14+ grains will be very compressed. Is AA#9 anything like a ball powder like WW-296 (it sure looks similar, but just to my naked eye) where it doesn't compressed as well as flake style powder?

Hodgdon has all the AA load data up now on their reloading website. May want to check there. I'd consider that the "ground truth" for AA data at this point.

Then you get variance in data between powder mfgs and bullet mfgs. With Hornady and Hodgdon in bed together 1 would think they might have identical info! As long as you remember new data laws you should be safe.

I can when I get home this evening. Do you mean the page adjacent to the test barrel info? I believe it has 135gr data.
I was mistaken, Lyman 50th has 135gr data.
