How'd you treat the pivots so they'd work smoothly?

I made fix blade knives for almost 25 years. Made thousands of them, they just don't come up for sale - the folks use them......
But I do not make them any more.

HSO,

I mill the scales for clearance and just make sure everything is straight.
Seems to work good these are some of the smoothest knives I've made.

Is the G10 and micarta difficult to work? Easier to burn? My only experience is wood scales.

I do all mine by hand so there is really no problem burning it.
Micarta and G10 are very easy to work, try it you will like it.
