I've got the Inox Brig, while a great gun, the Hogue wrap grip that it came with makes it hard for me to handle the gun easily and reach the controls. I went back to the black factory plastic grips for my full size 92FS and I can clearly see the improvement. Is there a Hogue wooden grip thin enough to improve the handling or would I be better off with one of the Beretta brand grips?

Well, if you know the Berretta grips work well for you I'd see if you could find someone willing to trade you for the Hogues. If you can't find that then maybe you can pick up a used set cheap. Barring those I'd imagine the wooden Hogue grips would be very similar in shape to the factory grips but I don't have any personal experiance with them.

I've also considered getting the black pearlite grips from either Ajax or Gun Grips.com -- since it's an Inox Brig, it might look nice but I wish I had feedback from someone that used it so I have a sense of how it worked out for them. Otherwise, I'll have to go with one of Beretta wooden grips which I'm assuming will work out, but I've been hoping for a little variety in my choices.
