Defining the true pocket pistol

Many 'pocket' pistols were not designed with a pants pocket in mind.. rather a suit coat or coat pocket. Esp. at the turn of the century when the "vest pocket" pistol became popular... braces or suspenders were worn instead of belts... it's not a good idea to put a heavy pistol in a pants pocket with no belt.

Wow, I've off and on wanted a "mini master" for quite a while. I have a standard .22 with holster grip that's amazingly accurate for a little over an inch of barrel. I often though it'd make a dandy "kit gun" or something to pack along outdoors just because. I always have that little NAA .22 with me.

I don't know if I'd want the .17 or a .22/.22mag model. I need to read up on some ballistics. It would be for plinking and an occasional rabbit, maybe, so I'm thinking the .17 wouldn't be all that necessary. The .22 mag is sort of a waste of time out of a tiny barrel, sorta like a short barreled .357, lots of flash bang for little reward in velocity gain over the smaller round. However, in a four inch mini master, it might kick up some juice. I also notice they offer the holster grip for the mini master and black widow, now. That's a handy attachment, really like the one on my .22. It hides, yet you can shoot it half way decent.

I'm uneducated on .17 ballistics, though, rifle OR revolver. I need to find some stats on that one.
