I want to add a dehumidifier to my gun safe, what's good, and low maintenance?

I have used the "keep it dry" tubs for a few years now. They run about $4 each.
So far (in Virginia) each one lasts me about 14 months and, according to my hygrometer, keeps my safe right at about 50% humidity even with the basement location and humid Va summers.

I usually buy 4-5 at a pop and then use them around the house.

I keep an EVA Dry dehumidifier in my safe. I like them because they're easy to dry out, just unfold the plug on the back and plug into an outlet. Their built in heater will do the job, kinda like recharging a battery. They all have an indicator on the front to show when they need recharging. Not as cheap as the desiccant tubs but a lot less bother than pouring the desiccant out of them, baking it, cooling the stuff and refilling.

I have a Golden Rod that came with my safe back in 1986 and it still works wonderfully, never had any rust on anything in the the safe.
