Del Fatti holster is VERY tight.

I recently bought a Del Fatti ISP LP holster for a Kimber 4" 1911. I've bought many different holster, but this is the tightest one yet. I have a Milt Sparks VM2 for my "5 1911. It was tight, but not as tight as the Del Fatti.

Any advice on loosening up the leather? So far I'm just drawing the gun over and over, unloaded of course.

The standard recommendation is to put the pistol in a ziplock bag or wrapped in waxed paper and insert in the holster. Leave the pistol inserted over night. Repeat as necessary.

It may be tight now, but you will see a benefit years down the road, in that it will not have loosened with time.

+1 on the gun in a plastic bag overnight. That's worked for me every time.
