I just happened to flip by the debate and the topic was guns. Here are a few things I noticed:
-Clinton just said the background check system doesn't work and that Cho was involuntarily committed.
-Richardson was asked if his opinion has changed based on what happened. Starts out by saying the vast majority of gun owners are law abiding and that the main problem is with the way mental health is dealt with.
-All candidates were asked if they had ever had a gun in their house. Richardson, Biden, Dodd, Kucinnich, and the guy from Alaska raised their hands
-Biden specifies that he had a shotgun, NOT a handgun. . .says he's against armor piercing bullets, AWB should haven't expired.
Richardson is looking MUCH better than any of the other candidates, although he did say his "ideal" (living) Supreme Court Justice is Ginsberg.
Thoughts?
