as recommened, i was cleaning my dies with denatured alcohol before first use. i had the denatured alcohol on a qtip and like an idiot as i exited it from the case it flung in my face, just a couple drops got on my face, lips and i think like 1 drop got in the corner of my eye but i dont think it made it in my eye. my eye didnt get red or sting or anything like that. i did remove my contact and flush it out with water briefly. the can says flush and get immediate attention, would that be extreme for my situation? i dont feel like going to the er at 4am cause a drop of denatured alcohol got in the corner of my eye, pay $500 for the doctor to say your fine. but i figured id make sure. its not bothering me, its not red (well it might be now after flushing water in my eye, i only did it for like 10 seconds cause i didnt want to irritate it and think it was from the alcohol.

I have splashed denatured alcohol in my eye nearly the same way. Never had a problem. Burns a bit when it gets inside, but didnt last long. Tears wash that stuff right out.

its funny cause i keep thinking i am losing my eye sight till i remember i took my contact lens out. then i look at something close up and its perfect, so its just my near sightedness.
one thing that sucks, i didnt tighten my decapping die back up enough after cleaning the die, so when i resized it got stuck in the case and i snapped the pin trying to get the case out. i shouldnt have bothered cleaning the damn thing, i didnt clean my pistol dies and had no problems, they were just a little dirty for the first 50.. now i gotta get a new pin. maybe its the excuse i need to get a rcbs x-die.

They used highly concentrated form of alcohol to remove the top layer of my wifes cornea during her PRK surgery. THe put it on and the top layer dried out adn the doc rubbit away. I asked him about getting reg alcohol inour eyes he said it will nurnbut that is it because it is not as concentrated s the stuff he had.
