Title asks the main question, beyond that how much should I expect to pay for a 1st or 2nd Gen model 20 in decent shape? Any major problems with these early models 20, KBs, etc. ?
I plan to use the pistol for deer hunting and not much else. I've owned quite a few Glocks and never kept any of them very long. No particular reason other than I'm just not a huge fan of polymer, but shouldn't bother me too bad on a hunting gun. Thanks in advance for the input.

No, the only first gen guns were the 17 and 17L. There were a few prototype G19 first gens but they were never production guns.

The first commercial g19's were second gen's and by 1990 Glock was putting out all 2nd gens. I remember seeing the ads for the G20 in 1990 in stores and they came on line in 1991.

Is there any advantage or disadvantage in having a earlier generation Glock ? I have a 23 and a 20 bought in the early to mid '90s. Both excellent so far.

Edit found the info in the Wiki here. :)
