I've got a Rem 600 Laminated carbine chambered in 6.5 Rem Mag. Loads, component, etc. requested. I'll probably be looking for some brass in the near future, as well.
There is some hope as Remington has started making rifles again.
Many moons ago (about 15 years) I had a 6.5 Rem Mag. The brass has never really been unavailable. I was always able to find either brass are NOS ammo. I may still have the dies.
I've heard that the combination of the short rifle (the 600's) with the 6.5 is why it was unpopular. I haven't found much fault with it thus far. It has a short Leupold optics on it (2-7) and it drives tacks at 100 yd. That sucker shoots some fire out the muzzle, tho, with the slow burning powder.
In all not a bad little rifle. That I traded a nail gun for it with a contractor makes it all the better.
