What is so difficult about that? And yet we have threads running where stupid people seem to do stupid things - at ranges in particular.
If however, in most cases I suspect, they had given this one moment of consideration, then maybe they would have behaved better. We should all know the four prime and sacrosanct rules with firearms and so when or if tempted to be lax over them, should only have to pause and think ..... ''hmmm ..... ''maybe not'', based on what we would wish from others - toward oursleves.
OK it's a rant ... mild one but ... maybe it's function of my age .. I tend to stop and think a bit more about the effects of my actions on others. ''would I like it if ?'' .... as I consider a session of plinking in my yard. And sometimes I decide ''nope ... tad too much noise for time of day'' etc.
These dudes who carelessly create muzzle sweep ... and who keep fingers on trigger etc .... strikes me that if they gave a moment's thought to their actions, they just might decide ..... ''hey, I'd not like that''.
