Do you avoid Gunshows?

Heck, I work at an FFL, but still browse the tables at gun shows. It's kinda hard for me to order a pre-war .38 Regulation Police, a Chilean M1895 Mauser carbine, or a Mle.1874 Gras rifle from my usual wholesalers.

I guess it's all about what you're interested in.
Good point Tamara, but other than anything wit da switch (that I cant afford anyway), I'm not into anything collectable and/or rare. If I am looking for something hard to find, collectablilty has nothing to do with it. So far the only thing that comes to mind are 20 rounders for my thompson.

I probably go to 90% of them in the Dayton area. Love to walk around and look. There are a few reputable dealers whose shops I go to anyway, so it's nice to have them all in one place and compare prices. Sometimes I buy some ammo, and some reloading supplies. The $6 to get in is cheaper than the extra charge for shipping primers etc. A lot of military items I can get cheaper at AIM Surplus, also within driving distance. My dad is in his 70's and he enjoys walking around and looking at the military surplus too and it's a good way for us to spend some time together. Every now and then (like last weekend) I go planning to buy a new one, so that trip is extra enjoyable. :D

BTW, maybe everyone was just in the Christmas spirit, but last weekend was probably the most polite crowd I've seen in awhile, biggest too.
