I'm wondering how many people buy factory reloaded ammo online versus buying new name brand ammo.

If you do buy reloads, do you buy for handguns or rifles? What sort of quantities do you buy? How do you figure out where to buy from (recommendation from friends, forum members, etc)?

If anyone has comments on these questions, or other comments on this topic, I'd appreciate hearing them.

I have purchased many thousands of commercially reloaded ammo from Georgia Arms, Zero, and Masters. All in .38 sp, 9mm, and .45 acp. No problems ever. Just as dependable as factory. When I first began purchasing commercial reloads, I was paying $50 per thousand. That was in the late 70's. Wasn't worth my time to reload (we didn't have affordable progressive presses then). But I sure reload now.
