Does typical .22 plinker fodder stay above 750fps from 4" barrel at 15m? -IRT NewBold

Greetings,
I'm looking into the possibility of some NewBold polymer reactive targets for our campus' indoor smallbore range. Per NewBold, .22 ammo must be travelling in excess of 750fps when it strikes the target, IOT minimize risk of bounce-back.

Using standard plinker-grade ammo (Federal Bulk-Pack, etc), out of 4" Ruger MkII and the like at no more than 15m, should we be safely above 750fps? Is it just a matter of not using sub-sonic Augila rounds or firing .22 shorts out of a 1.5" barrel?

Thanks for any ballistic kenning,

A revolver and a pistol will have different ballistics

surly someone has a chronograph and you can do some testing ?
I don't know the ballistics out of either . Sorry other than the chronograph recommendation I can be of no help .

Standard plinker grade is generally high velocity ammo so yes it would be above the 750 fps ceiling out of a 4 inch barrel. Standard velocity rounds should also exceed that velocity.

Standard plinker rounds out of my 4" S&W revolver run around 950-990fps and standard velocity rounds right at 880-900fps. I get just slightly less velocity out of a 3.5" Walther P-22, you should be just fine with your targets.

I did a little research project a while back where I chronographed several hundred rounds of Winchester Wildcat .22 LR out of a Ciener conversion kit mounted on an M1911 frame. Mean velocity was 1055 fps.

Much appreciate the info thus far, and apologize for the vagueness of "standard plinker rounds"

@fecmeh: do you recall any of the brands you chronoed that ran those numbers?

Thanks much all, will report back if we end up going with the NewBolds.

Mathew--The high velocity rounds were Remington Thunderbolts, CCI Blazer, and Federal Bulk pac from Wally World. Standard velocity was some 30 year old Winchester T-22 and some PMC standard velocity. You will be above 750fps even out past 50 yds with anything you shoot except CB caps or something like that. Nick
