Dunno about that particular Hume product, but I've been please with mine (2 x Double 9, 1 JIT slide). I recommend you buy them from Gunner's Alley (www.gunnersalley.com) as they are good folks and they'll save you a coupla bucks vs. dealing with Hume directly.

I have a Hume pocket holster and although the leather is a little thin (probably by design because it's a pocket holster), it is extremely well made and stiff. No experience other thn that.

Have a Hume IWB w\thumb break for my 229. Fits like a glove, comfortable and well crafted. Bought it from GunnersAlley. Great guys to work with.

I have 2 H715's. One for a Glock 36 and one for my Colt Defender. I've had them for about 5 yrs. I also have a duty holster H738 that is nearly 15 yrs old. I have Binachi, Desantis, Safariland, Uncle Mikes, Brigade and I'll take my Don Hume's over any of them. I try others when I find a good deal but always go back to Don Hume in the end.

The Humes are adequate. But they don't offer the quality of construction as some of the other higher priced brands. An overall thumbs up in that price range.

I own the 715 for Glocks. All the standard frame 9mm, .40, and .357 Glocks will fit it. It works very well for me for both my 17 and 26. My main use for it, though, is not as an all-day holster, but as the ideal holster for those days when I know I will taking the holster off and on several times. For those who don't know this holster, it is an IWB, leather, with a strong clip. It is secure on the belt but still fairly easy to put on and take off. It is far more comfortable than most Kydex IWB holsters.

My only caution is that if you are sitting in odd positions it can sometimes tilt on you a little because it has only one point of attachment. I also have several other Don Hume holsters for Glocks, and all are good quality and heavy duty. They last forever. It is true that they are not as pretty as some others and are generally not lined.

I got a Hume IWB for a snubbie last year. Was pleasantly surprised at what $25 bought. Stitching is tight and tough, it's molded well to my 649, and the leather seems more than serviceable. Maybe thicker, prettier ones out there, but I don't expect to replace this one for some years.

Another pleased customer with a JIT belt holster used to house a P11.
What you get for about $30 [shipped] is most impressive.

My Taurus 650 spends about 90% of it's time in a Don Hume IWB. Good retention, and quick to present. And alot classier to look at than plastic.

Thanks for all of the feedback everyone. It was on the gunnersalley website that I found the holster, and just wanted a little input. I am trying to limit my 'unneeded, uncomfortable and no good holster' collection as much as possible by making informed purchases.:D

I have 2 of the H715-M's. One for a Glock 36 and one for my Colt Defender. Love Don Hume products. You get a lot for your money with Don Hume. My entire Duty rig is by Don Hume and is over 20 yrs old. A little dye now and then with some saddle soap and it keeps on ticking like a Timex.

I don't think you'll be disappointed in any Don Hume product you get.

We have three Hume holsters, two clip IWBs and one OWB belt. All have been nothing short of excellent. They take a little bit to break in but I don't think you can buy a better holster for the money.

I plan on buying a new one soon for my GP100.

All in all I am very happy with ours.

I have 2 Don Hume holsters, and for the money they are excellent. Not as nice as the pricey handmade holsters, but good value just the same. They are quite stiff when new, but nice when broken in.

I have 4 Don Hume holsters, great products, great service, and excellant prices, unless you are looking for sharkskin or something in the higher price range. I think Don Hume "Rocks" for my money.

All of my duty gear is Don Hume. I also have an H726 for my SIG P220. After a number of years, they all still look great and function well. IMO DH is good gear at a not unreasonable price.

I tried to edit my post above but to no avail.

Wanted to add that it just so happens that the JIT for a P11 also fits a 1911 PERFECTLY.

Every once in a while, you get a side benefit.:)

I have 4 Don Hume holsters at present, they are all very good holsters.
None of mine are IWB, but they are all working great for me. My only kvetch with Hume, is they seem to be shrinking their model selection and gun model coverage. Last two guns I bought, Hume said they didn't make a holster for.
But I really like the JIT slides and my 7/24 for my Sig is incredible.

I have a model 715 Don Hume IWB. It's a fine holster with reinforced mouth but the leather is a bit thick. I want to get a thinner IWB and that probably means kydex for me.
