I have one right here which is .459" or 11.56mm. I grabbed another which is .466 or 11.84. So they vary a bit which it to be expected, but gives you an idea. That btw is the outer edges, I can't measure the inside groove, nor is it important.

It is most likely supposed to be 11mm, due to the fact that is the standard air rifle size.

But that is close enough that American 3/8" tip-off rings may work too.

Some air gun rings come with reversible 11mm / 3/8" clamps to you can pick what fits your grooves with the same rings.

If you flip the nut side clamp (probably a name for it but I don't know it) as rc mentioned, it may not fit into the groove of the rail well. At least most of the aluminum mounts I've had are like that. Actually even the sharper side is a bit too thick and blunt imo, so something to look at when mounting. They still seem to work fine, but if you want or need to you can sand it sharper to fit the groove better. Place the whole mount flat on a sheet of sand paper and rub it until it's good. Or sand each half individually which might be better.
I really like those cheapie one-piece mounts on the Crosman site, also sold under other names like: http://tinyurl.com/pa6u23l
They look great, work great, light, super cheap, and these medium height bring the scope down super low with a 40mm scope which is my fav. Just as the grooves in the gun vary in width, they can also vary in depth, so between that and different objective end sizes a 40AO won't always fit, but all mine do. Plus if you need to shim the scope it gets worse. If it does fit it's sweet. If not they have high rings.
