anyone have info on dreyse 25 auto pistol?

What sort of information? These were built by Rheinische Metallwaren & Metallfabrik between 1912 and 1915, after which the company converted to war production, because they also manufactured light machine guns, which were in great demand at the time. The grip logo should have the initials "RMF" at the top.

Manufactured between 1912 and 1915. There isn't a lot of information available on this German manufacturer in regards to small arms. Most of the Deryse handguns were in .7.65 ( 32 ACP ), I believe that they only made one small 6.35 ( .25ACP). I can find no reference that they offered any finishes other the blue. If it is chrome plated it was definitely done after market, most likely after a GI bought it home as a souvenir either in WWI or WWII. The aftermarket plating does discount the value quite a bit, I would guess 150 to someone starting a collection and needed one to fill a empty spot in a display.

Your Dreyse 6.35mm Model of 1907,was marketed by a company named Rheinmetall of Sommerda Germany, has a six shot magazine,weighs 14oz.,2" barrel, hard rubber grips with the "RMF" logo molded in.

The patent for the design was issued in 1909 to Louis Schmeisser. Values from 400$ in excellent, 250 very good 200 good,150 fair 100 poor.

I really don't think a aftermarket chrome plated gun is going to bring that high a price, Could be wrong

I'm with you on the chrome not being factory, the pricing stated is for a factory finish gun.

FWIW, Nikolaus Dreyse was long dead when that gun was made; the company used the name in his honor.
