Durable sights for Marlin XT-22?

I have gone on a few deer hunting trips where I wished I would have brought along a little .22. I am now looking at getting one of the new Marlin XT-22 rifles in either the youth model or the adult model with the under-barrel tube. The gun will be stainless/synthetic either way. We enter deer camp by boat or a LONG ATV ride and I can usually baby one rifle, but 2 may be a bit much. So I'd like to install some tough open sights on the XT-22 because the stamped steel rear and fiber optic front look very fragile. Any recommendations on a drop-in replacement? The rear is a dovetail (I believe) and the front is a screw-on.

Also, if you know of any other stainless bolt-action .22's with more durable stock sights, I may be interested in other rifles. Looking for durability here...
