We did this for the first time last year, it's a lot of fun especially for the kids whether those kids are young or old. We live in the woods in the Georgia mountains with a ridge that wraps around from the front or the house and around one side allowing up to just over 100 yards of safe shooting for small calibers. So we boil up a couple dozen eggs and place them on the ground, on fallen trees and stumps and in the crook of trees at various distances and then shoot them with 22s. We tried raw eggs, but they don't splatter like you would think they would, and the boiled ones are easier to see when you hit them. best part is there is no cleanup, within a day or two the wildlife will take care of that for you. You can color them first if you want, but just leaving them white makes for good contrast. Happy Easter!
