I am getting ready to make a batch of Ed's Red but I had a question about
"deodorized kerosene". Is this the same kerosene you buy at the gas station
for kerosene heaters or is it the scented lamp oil you buy at wally world?
I found a 5 gallon plastic can of kerosene I bought a few years ago for a portable heater but never used it, I wonder if it's ok to use with Ed's Red?

1 part Kerosene - deodorized, K1

Not sure it is the same as lamp oil from WW.

I use Coleman's Kerosene purchased from WW. It has very little odor and comes in a quart container...works great.

I used the "normal" gas station kerosene. Ed's Red is so toxic smelling anyway it just doesn't matter.

Great stuff by the way - I mixed up a large batch up about a couple years ago and still have quite a bit left.
