I have a S&W Model of 1905 of manufacture date around +/-1908 (SN 138xxx) that is well worn. I'm getting it back in shape as a range shooter, & so far I have replaced the hand & the cylinder release parts-- timing is now good and the broken/mismatched cylinder release is looking better and working fine.

The last repair is to replace the bent ejector rod. I know that more modern S&W revolvers have a left handed thread on the ejector rod, but that early revolvers have a right handed thread. (The replacement I have is right handed, but I got it from Numerich & their selection wasn't specific enough to give me 100% confidence that it's correct)

Before I start torquing away, can anyone give me some guidance on what thread (right or left handed) my revolver would be?
