European mount how to.....(w/pics)

Just got done "cooking" the mount, thought I'd share a few photos. After removing the hide and eyes the skull is boiled in a bleach and water mixture for about 4 hours.

That looks great. Did you have to do any scraping after you finished, or did it come out that clean? Also, any problems with the bones turning soft? I tried one for two hours, and the bones starting getting soft on the nose, so I quit boiling, lots of scraping and borax.

Just like pulling meat off a soup bone after being in a crockpot. The longer you cook it the easier it is to clean. I think there's some truth that bones are soft while cooking, after cooling the hardness returns. Nose cavity can be tough to get cleaned, compressed air or a pressure washer helps clean hard to reach areas.
