I have been gradually upgrading my Noveske N4 for the past couple months and I'm finally getting close to having it configured the way I want it.

•Noveske N4 stripped lower
•Noveske lower parts kit
•Magpul STR stock
•Magpul grip
•Novekse Basic upper with the mid-length gas system
•Troy drop-in rail
•Eotech 512
•Magpul BUS sights
•Magpul vertical grip

I was pretty happy with how it came out but I wanted more unique so I added the following:
•Troy 15" Alpha Rail
•Magpul ASAP sling attachment
•Inforce weapon light

Still I wanted more unique. I gave the rifle over to a buddy who does professional cerakoting and had him do a Desert Tan finish to the upper, lower and rail. I also had him cerakote the hood of my tan Eotech black and the lever to remove the battery cover black as well. When he finished and I got it back I was very happy with the new look.
I then added or replaced the following:
•Troy ambi safety
•Magpul BAD Lever
•Black Magpul vertical grip
•Larue A-PEG grip

Here it is with my Sig 225 that I had the same guy cerakote for me a while back, I think they go really well together!

I painted my shovels and rakes blue so that they would color-coordinate with my truck. I'll try to get some pics if I think about it.

Lol. Smart ass! Looks good man. I've done things about that to mine also but I haven't cerrocoted. I like the black look. I dipped my bushy xm15 in a brown skulls. I like it

Looks good. I've been upgrading my ARs for several years as components have come on the market. Years ago I burned my thigh with an AR barrel when I dropped a carbine in a transition. I was very pleased when the longer hand guards became available. I have been wanting to have a set of ARs in different seasonal camo patterns and will eventually get them done in ceracote. I still prefer blued steel and wood firearms. But being able to not have to fire up the lathe and mill to work on a firearm is good. ARs are not barbies. They are adult tinker toys, and they keep on multiplying in the dark. I figure that I might be able to have all the variations finished in two more years. Then I will sell them and start over, politics and health permitting.

You've done a good job.

Cheers,

Ts

I like v2 the best too but do know that a black AR sitting in the summer sun gets mighty hot.

Good pics. Can you show us your lighting setup? Light box?

Very nice. Did you change flash suppressors between V1 and V2? If so, which ones did you use? I keep changing hand guards (and optics) on mine but ultimately come back to the stock carbine hand guard. Call me boring but I just like the way it looks at feels. Not to mention, having double heat shields is nice!
