Just can't say enough about the smart carry rig, which is now my constant companion along with the MK9 Kahr and spare mag. Yes, the draw is slower than a traditional CCW setup, but at least I *have a gun* which as we all know is the first rule of a gunfight. In the winter, I'll go back to a larger gun and different rig, as I'll be wearing more covering garments (jackets), but for summer, the smart carry completely conceals. Doesn't print - no one is the wiser at all with a small gun like the MK9.

I've tried it with 3 different models and 3 different sized guns, and just cannot get it to be comfortable.

I just came from a CCW class where the teacher raved about the smart carry. I'm not making this up: he carried a .500 S&W the whole class and no one knew until he pointed it out.

I just got mine, and I can't believe how comfortable it is; and it amazes me how I can carry my G 17 in my loose shorts now without it being seen! I was used to having to walk around holding my shorts up with a Kel-Tec in my pocket!

Terrific product...

John Ross says TWO .500s!

He wrote about it in his column. I am 5'11" and 185. I have a REAL 29" waist.
Smartcarry means I can't carry anything bigger than I could already have put in my pocket, or I have a seriously noticeable bulge.
IWB for me, and I just stopped tucking my shirt in. When I have to, I carry an ankle gun.
Anybody want to buy a 29" Smartcarry for 4" auto?

Didn't work for me with a gun the size of a Glock 19. It seems to work for a lot of people though.

Did anyone else get that email about Smartcarry from the guy who used to sell them on Ebay?

In SW Florida, the rep at gunshows is a rail-thin guy named Charlie. It seems like magic when he makes a 1911 appear in his hand. I have one for special usage.

No dice for me and my SIG 228; too wide through the grip. A single stacker and I think I would have been in business. Super nice people though; Charley is the inventor...

Yeah, Charley is the owner/inventor. You can see him on that website with pics of him concealing said full sized 1911. He's a good guy; talk to him when you order - give him your waist size and the type(s) of gun you want to conceal, and he'll ship out the right size. I'm using a small pouch with a small waist size for my 32" waist. It works well with a single stack gun of compact or subcompact size. Full size, well maybe if your pants are pretty loose. Double stack - yes with dress pants; no with jeans. But a double-stack and/or a full sized makes you look like you are blessed by the creator with jeans on. Just practice that phrase: "Excuse me while I whip this out." :) Oops, shoulda put this in gear from the get-go P95.
