extended beavertail on a delta elite

so i've been trying to put an extended beavertail grip safety on my colt delta elite 10mm with no luck for a drop in. i dont have confidence in my dremeling skills to custom fit one. anyone had an experience with putting a beaver tail on a delta elite?

I am somewhat confused as to why you are having no luck obtaining a drop in part.

If you have never installed a "fitted" safety you are right to hold off as your Delta isn't probably the place to learn.

If what you want is a fitted safety, you should have it done by a competent gunsmith that has the proper jigs to do it right.
