el oh el. Absolutely not.

Ram-Line used to make a cheap folder in the early 90s that I bought and used until it cracked a month later. I would usually run around with the gun and hold it like a pistol without using the forestock. Eventually it cracked. I returned it.

edit:
Ram-Line still makes the stock (well the buttplate used to fold as well, guess they got rid of that feature)! And they make 50 round mags again! Yay for gun rights!

I've had a Butler Creek folder on my 10-22 for about 12 years now. It works fine.

The Choate/black warrior ones werent bad. Mine was as solid as possble, with no discernable movement. Too bad they were bolted to that goofy black plastic, molded checkeing thing they called a stock...

I'm currently in the market for one but it seems a lot of $ to waste for something I don't need. Actually in my book, Ruger and his Guns, the book mentioned some special runs of 10/22's made for special warfare types with supressors and folding stocks and such but I'm sure the stocks were aftermarket and the work was probably contracted out to MAC or somebody.
