I went and handled a few more pistols today in a gun shop. The most comfortable grip of any of the pistols I've handled so far (limited to maybe 20 pistols) was on the newer Buckmark URX. That thing fit my hand like it was made for me. If anybody makes aftermarket grips similar to those, they are probably a big seller.

I hated the Hi-point 9mm. The slide on that thing was difficult to operate. It took a lot of force. The Ruger P95DC felt good, and the slide was very easy to pull back. I didn't like the compact Glocks' contoured grips. The trigger guard buried into the knuckle on the top of my middle finger. It was just a terrible fit for me, the worst of all so far. I did kind of like the grips on the full sized "2nd generation" (what the guy there called it). I don't know the model number. The Glock magazines had a neat feature though. It had holes in it to quickly let you know how many rounds were left in the magazine, kinda handy for gunfights I suppose. :) I think the Ruger had something similar.

Anyways...... I'm just sharing. I was really impressed with the grips on that Buckmaster URX.
