Fairly positive and balanced clip on women and guns

Fox news in Austin aired a segment on Women and Guns that actually managed to be fairly positive. They did give the "other side" a chance to comment, but was pretty good overall. Bonus, some of the footage was shot at the UT gun and rifle club. Any chance that a THR member was there Mr. Vanitas?

I love that comment, she talks about how NRA has been "brainwashing people to believe that they need a firearm to protect themselves."

Hmm...wow. That must be the world's most effective brainwashing methodology ever.

Crikeys. I'm pretty liberal (not much of a surprise to many of you). But all the brainwashing I needed was watching someone almost die of their injuries in a mugging. The muggers must have been paid off by the NRA marketing machine to mug us (yes, that's a joke for those of us who don't like sarcasm).

OK, so that comment isn't exactly The High Road, but COME ON! Do people really believe that?

Thanks for posting the link to that news clip Texfire.

I did not get a chance to see the news on Monday and was looking forward to see how they presented it.

I was most impressed that women participating in target shooting has doubled from 2.5 mil. in 1995 to 5 mil. in 2005.
