FAL stripper clip questions

I'm thinking of purchasing a few thousand 7.62 NATO stripper clips with a few guides. Having never used FAL stripper clip setups before, I figure I better ask y'all how they work for ya, before I end up with a few thousand worthless chunks of tin lying around here:


Do the 7.62 NATO stripper clips work better than the 5.56 NATO stripper clips? I know I had a heck of a time, sometimes, with 5.56 cartridges flying all over the place when I'd try to use them, or stripper clips falling past the guide stop.

Would the stripper clip receiver cover offered by Tapco be a good way to go? I'd still get mag loaders, but it seems like the cover would make life alot simpler on the range.

If there are other options I'm forgetting, please enlighten me.

I bought the mag loader and stripper clips from Tapco, It works like a dream, they load the mag with ease.

They work fine, but you can still end up bleeding pretty easily on the last 5 into the magazine if you are not doing it correctly.
