Fast .44 180gr. loads..

I'm sure this has been visited before.. But my searches haven't turned up anything very useful., The load manuals are pretty thin with regard to 180gr. .44 mag data.
Anyway, I'm looking for some loads for a hot 180 gr. JHP from a carbine barrel. - If for nothing other than smacking the sh*% out of a milk jug full of water!
I have Alliant 300-MP, Longshot, Herco on hand.. but could pick up another med./ slow powder if needed.

Anyone have a favorite smokin' 180 grain recipe out there?

I've always shot W296/H110 under the Sierra 180 gr JHC ... I don't have any data for 300-MP ....

Used IMR4227 many years ago. The 180 liked to jump crimp in the s&w m29. Turned out to be from thin Super Vel brass.

Herco load data for 180gr jacketed on page 43:

2004 Alliant load data

Start low (at least 5% below listed, and 10% is probably better to start) and work up slowly till you find the sweet spot for burn and accuracy...

Thanks for replies.. Wish I could find some 2400.. Powder supplies have been fairly good around here, but 2400 has vanished. Even found a guy with Accurate, but no #9.. Wonder how AA 4100 would do. Herco will make a decent load, but peaks out well before it hits the kind of speed I'm looking for.

According to Hodgdon's burn chart AA#9 is number 57 .... AA 4100 is number 58 .... so 4100 is slightly slower burning than #9 .... here is a link to AA data .... http://www.accuratepowder.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/WesternLoadGuide1-2016_Web-1.pdf.
It also shows Ramshot Enforcer as being fast with 180 gr bullets ....
