Hey guys! What is your favorite color of B-27 target, or other similair silhouette targets? I see they are available in many colors, and I usually choose blue just because I think it gives the best contrast to the front sight colors on most of my guns. I've seen B-27 targets available in black, blue, green, red, and orange colors but there may be others out there.

So what is your favorite color of this kind of target, and why do you pick that color?

Thanks! :)

I like the "photo" type the best. No fixed aiming points or scoring rings, and you have to think about where your round is actually going, and not just necessarily shoot COM.

I chose black, only because I have so many of them. Paid $5 for a little over 2" of them. Not sure how true this story is, but was told they were to be for law enforcement. Something another about they were switching to blue.

Something like this ^

Nearing my 70th B-day, so I'm becoming visually challenged. Many of my handguns have black sights, so the black silhouette targets make it hard to distinguish the entire sight pattern. Light blue allows for quicker, and better, sighting.
Some of my handguns have orange sight posts, so the orange isn't good for me either.
But I have not one light blue pistol or sight post!

Whatever is the cheapest at the time; we mostly have black and green. Black because it's what I bought; green because that's what the sheriff's department had when we trained with them.

And B&W when its targets I designed and printed. And of course pure white when we use paper plates.

Now if I can just get the BGs to wear only these colors I'll feel a lot better.

Pretty much black, though my kids like the orange ones for better contrast with the black sights on their guns.

While I was practicing for the CCW class, I used the green ones. I got pretty used to them. Of course, at the actual class they used black targets.

They worked just fine, but I do like those green ones.

When the colored versions of B27 first came out, I saw it seriously said that:
Shooting at a black humanoid target is racist.
Shooting at a blue humanoid target is practice for cop killing.

You just can't get away from the do-gooders.
