For pure silliness, I always got a kick out of the Trinity movies with Terence Hill. I think he used a Colt 1851.

My favorites were basically covered, would add Fire Creek with Jimmy Steward and Henry Fonda for drama and some shootings.

It wasn't 'Gunfighters Moon' with the 'shot him in the back' exchange, it was 'El Diablo'. Anthony Edwards to Lou Gosset Jr.

All of the above are my favorites. I like'm all. John Wayne is the all time Hero.

My favorite Westerns I can watch over and over again and still enjoy them.
I can watch Wyatt Earp with Costner every time

But to pick two, right now. -- "The Sacketts" and "Open Range"

oklahoma is a ballet it ain't no western :D

True Grit " I ain't never shot nobody that didn't deserive shootin" & "Fill your hands"

The outlaw Josey Wales "buzzards gotta eat same as worms"

There was a fella in The Village People who wore a cowboy hat too....didn't make him a cowboy though.

Outlaw Josie Wales gets my vote as the best over all gunfights.

Waterhole Number 3 gets my vote as one of the funniest ...
